Heine Brothers has been working in tandem with KFTC (Kentuckians For The Commonwealth) to stop mountaintop removal mining. They have created the Mountain Dream coffee blend, which is now on sale at all Heine Brothers locations. A portion of the proceeds will benefit this cause. Hound Dog was asked to create and print the design for the coffee bags, and this is the finished product.

We’ve been working on getting settled in to our new location on Market Street, and it’s starting to feel complete. In case you haven’t had a a chance to stop by yet, this is what our new store front looks like

Here are some photos of the retail section of the shop. We’ve added a lot of new cards in the past few weeks so make sure to stop by and check them out!

Here are some pictures of Robert and Nick hard at work.

Say hi to our shop mascot, Eugene. He’s not real, but he’s all we got.

Robert just finished this flier/poster for some friends. It’s a 2 color reduction linoleum cut with hand-set type.

It’s that time of year again! Lebowski Fest is about to begin. Here at the shop we were commissioned to print these posters designed by Bill Green. For more information about Lebowski Fest check out the official site http://lebowskifest.com/

We’ve been working on a lot of posters at the shop lately. Here are two examples that turned out really well. The Yew Dell Gardens poster was created to celebrate the opening of its visitor center. To learn more about Yew Dell visit their website http://www.yewdellgardens.org/
The Why Louisville poster was created to celebrate the anniversary of the store’s opening (I heard Abe Lincoln is going to be there). If you’re interested in knowing more about Why Louisville check out their website http://www.whylouisville.com/
Both of these posters were designed by AJB and MTK…we just did the printing. Check out more of their cool work at http://www.ajbmtk.com/
